I then came across various recipes for these famous 'kale chips'. These chips came out with a huge bang in these past few years. Seen in all health stores, Pinterest and in every hipsters hands.
I even got my chips loving hubby to help cook, eat & enjoy these together with me... That says a lot!
You may think kale is a tasteless and bland vegetable, but spice these the right way and you have yourself a tasty and guilt free snack!
So what's all this hype about kale? I can go on and on about the crazy amount of vitamins, nutrients and other health benefits kale has, but I want to get right into this quick and easy recipe :)
Large bunch of kale
Sprinkle of Salt, pepper & garlic
2 T Vinegar
1 T of Olive oil
Make sure you wash and dry your kale well. Remove the leaves off the stem and then chop it into small bite sized pieces. Place the kale into a bowl then pour your dressing on top. I liked the freshness of olive oil, salt, pepper and vinegar but you can go crazy trying different flavors (I know i will).
Lay them on a baking sheet and bake them for 20 -25 minutes. Just keep an eye on them, you want them to be a bit brown around the edges but not over cooked.
Now go watch those guilty pleasure reality shows with your guilt free snack!!
